Rieke van der Stoep (1953) has been working as a field artist for more than 25 years. Her philosophical and holistic approach to how the badger man is to herself, the other person and the world around him / her runs like a thread through her work. The vulnerability and strength of Rieke's wife in particular often the leading role. In her design she makes frequent use of a geometric and graphic design imagery. The circle is a recurring element that for her symbolizes the feminine and infinite, but also for thinking and feeling. In her recent work, she leaves the casting skin on the statue, sometimes with the back embossed happily. With this she approaches man even closer to the skin. She also makes more use of materials other than carriers for expressiveness. Her free work is shown through renowned galleries, art assessments and events abroad. Also works on behalf of fine dust and companies.
