It starts with the beauty of natural shapes, structures and materials such as steel wire, silicone rubber, synthetic resin and more. Finding the material, discovering it, combining ideas, looking for form and technique is a circular process for me. I can keep control from start to finish, because the special is all done under my own hands in my workshop. Creating transparency, lightness and space in design and / or material are a recurring value in my jewelry. It makes the wearer part of the jewelry. For the series “Wire space” I take apart steel wire, make space and then weave it together again in a different way so that a different shape is created. For the series “Perfect-day” I use shapes from nature as a mold. I mix the silicone rubber with a little pigment and possibly combine it with other materials. The (semi) transparent silicone rubber and the various pigments contribute to the somewhat strange magical atmosphere that the jewelry radiates. This then gets its own nature ... just for a beautiful day ... or the longing for it.
