I always see light and colour everywhere, even when I close my eyes. The tension that forms mutually evoke is a great source of inspiration for my work, as well as colour, light and rhythm. These elements form the base of my work. You can call it the geometric abstract. The light I try to capture by using plastic and plexiglass, where the (sun) light beautifully falls through or strokes along, leaving all kinds of shady spots. My panels are build out of layers of plexiglass and coloured pieces or slices of plastic. When the light falls on it there are different sparkling effects. Also on my linen fabrics I combine acrylic plastic and adhesive tape. In addition, I build small coloured plexiglass objects called Plexi towns( beautiful coloured and shaped).
